What I bring to you with Spardha’s Natural skin care range, is the knowledge and history of my origin, and my expertise as a professional beauty therapist. I was born and raised in India, home of yoga and Ayurveda. I spent a wonderful childhood in India, have lived and traveled across the whole country, and have many beautiful, unforgettable memories from there. I cherish the knowledge, values and culture that are deeply instilled in me and hope to pass on the same to my daughter.

I started my journey with Spardha’s Natural in late 2013 to bring awareness about all the chemicals that we consume daily, within and outside our bodies. I wanted to provide completely natural alternatives that didn’t use any parabens, SLS, artificial perfumes etc. and were made with organic ingredients. But in 2015, I had my beautiful baby girl so had to take a break for 4 yrs to look after her. When she started full time school in 2019, that was the time for me to get back to my passion again that I dearly cared about. I decided to start afresh, with a new brand image, which had sustainability and conscious living as its core values.  After a long await, I was finally able to relaunch in November, 2020. It has been a long journey, required a lot of hard work, patience and many many hours of mental and physical work. But I am proud of it all and present to you Spardha’s Natural with its earth-friendly and eco-conscious skincare range!

Ayurveda in a nutshell: According to old Indian texts (vedas), Ayurveda is an ancient medical system spanning over 5000 yrs. Ayurveda can be directly translated to Science (Veda) of Life (Ayur). It is a holistic approach towards maintaining good health through combining mind, body and consciousness. It is still very prominent in the Medical, Beauty and Food industries in India (and beyond). My great grandfather was a herbalist and an Ayurvedic doctor. Most of his recipes were passed down through the generations, which have now been passed down to me through my mum. Some of them are for curing ailments but I am only using what’s suited to maintain healthy skin and hair. So as you can see, I am passing some of my family secrets on to you. Some of the ingredients he used back then are now fortunately available in the UK. I have done a thorough study and research to expand my knowledge about different plants, fruits, herbs, oils and essential oils and how they can be formulated together to balance and give the best results when used on hair, face and body. And they work like magic!
